Amana Inclusive Technology Initiative (AITI) will host a two-day AI Advantage Workshop on November 5–6 in Maiduguri, Borno State, marking the city’s first major inclusive training on Artificial Intelligence.

The workshop will equip participants with practical skills in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and Python Programming, alongside applications of AI in business and governance. To promote inclusivity, the sessions will be conducted in Hausa.

According to Jimeh Saleh, AITI’s Director, “Our goal is to empower communities through inclusive digital education and innovation that reflects local realities. We believe Artificial Intelligence should not only be used, but also understood and shaped by everyone.” Participants will also benefit from mentorship sessions, hands-on demos, and guidance on developing AI-based solutions.

The initiative reflects Amana’s commitment to democratizing AI, promoting ethical innovation, and advancing local language inclusion in tech education.
