Amana Inclusive Technology for Development Initiative is a non-profit dedicated to building inclusive digital futures. Founded in Nigeria, we focus on local language accessibility, community-driven innovation, and ethical AI advocacy.

Our Programs

Tech Education in Local Languages

  • Translate coding and AI courses into Hausa, Fulfulde, and Pidgin
  • Deliver offline and online training: videos, radio programs, booklets
  • Organize community bootcamps focused on girls, youth, and rural communities
  • Launch a Tech in Local Languages YouTube series

Mentorship & Talent Development

  • Tech Fellows Program: Pair local learners with global tech professionals
  • Innovation Challenges & Hackathons: Empower youth to solve local problems
  • Provide seed funding and incubation support for AI startups

Create a TechDev Academy & Lab as a community innovation hub

  • Healthcare Bots: Maternal health reminders, vaccination alerts
  • Agriculture Bots: Weather updates, fertilizer advice, and market prices
  • Legal Literacy Apps: Know-your-rights platforms for citizens
